Cara Laing, Bowmore brand manager, said: “We’ve released a small batch of Bowmore Tempest annually since 2010 to great response. Every batch is slightly different but always reflects Bowmore’s raw spirit.
"We recommend enjoying it with a little rich, dark chocolate to release the sweetness and depth of the spirit.”
According to the brand, the expression delivers “bursts of oranges, followed by a sea-salt tang”, while retaining “rich, warm, smoky flavours”.
Bowmore Tempest Small Batch Release No. 4 will be released in 2012.
