According to the distillery, 30% of the 1995 Vintage is made from first-fill American sherry oak cask-aged whisky, producing a butterscotch flavour.
Notes of spices and dried fruits have been created from first-fill Spanish sherry oak casks, while the use of refill barrels provide the 1995 Vintage with “the characteristic balance and complexity associated with The Glenrothes”.
The expression is priced at £45.00 and carries an abv of 43%.
