The Bacardi Global Travel Retail Division has announced three director-level appointments in a bid to “create a leadership team with a wealth of experience and global expertise”.

Vinay Golikeri, currently the global marketing manager - whiskies at Bacardi Global Brands, has been appointed marketing director for Bacardi Global Travel Retail, effective June 1.

From July 1, Aude Rocourt will be the new travel retail regional director for north and south Europe, with Paul Francis, currently marketing director for Bacardi Japan, succeeding her in the role of travel retail regional director for Asia Pacific.

Rocourt has spent 20 years with Bacardi. Before joining the travel retail team she was based in France where she held national and global marketing roles across brands including Martini, Baron Otard Cognac, Benedictine and Noilly Prat.

Francis joined Bacardi in 1998 and held a number of sales and marketing roles in the US and his native Canada before being appointed global marketing manager for Grey Goose vodka.

Vinay Golikeri has led the development of several new marketing programmes to support the global growth of Dewar's scotch whisky and William Lawson's scotch whisky.

Prior to joining the global team, Vinay was general manager of marketing at Bacardi India where he led the expansion of Bacardi Superior and the seeding of the company's premium spirits portfolio.

Andrew Carter, managing director, Bacardi Global Travel Retail Division said: “We now have in place an exceptionally strong group of directors to lead our marketing and regional sales teams as we strive to achieve our five-year vision for the Bacardi travel retail business.

“Together they will lead a number of global brand building initiatives which will be implemented across all of our core brands and key customers."
