Martinez joins Clink! having previously worked as export manager for a Toledo winery in her native Spain.
Catherine Monahan, Clink! Wines managing director, who has described Maritinez’s experience as “invaluable”, said: “A key focus for us is the Spanish category, so her language skills are an added bonus.”
Martinez will also be responsible for events, including the 2011 London International Wine and Spirits Fair, which starts in May.
Martinez has obtained her WSET certificate, and will continue to complete the remaining courses, combining her interest in wine with operations.
