UK: Cask Liquid to market two Berry brands

20 March, 2012

Berry Bros. & Rudd Spirits has announced Cask Liquid Marketing will assume UK distribution for The King’s Ginger liqueur and The Pink Pigeon vanilla-infused rum.

From April 1 Cask Liquid Marketing will replace In-Spirit Global Brands, which has distributed the brands for the last two years.

Cask Liquid Marketing's initial focus will be to build the presence of The King’s Ginger and The Pink Pigeon in London's on-trade.

Peter Davie, sales director of Berry Bros. & Rudd Spirits, said: “With a shift in focus for both parties - core brands for Global, who are streamlining to focus on a tighter portfolio to drive growth and scale, and super-premium positioning for Berry Bros. & Rudd Spirits - we agreed the time was right to conclude our arrangements."

Stuart Ekins, director of Cask Liquid Marketing, said: “We are delighted to be working with Berry Bros. & Rudd Spirits again and look forward to building the profile of these super-premium brands in the London on-trade and beyond. The King’s Ginger and Pink Pigeon fit perfectly into our top quality portfolio.”
