BrewDog has responded to the Advertising Standards Authority with characteristic derision, telling the ad watchdog they “can go fuck themselves”, after receiving its second ban in under a year.

The Australian Advertising Standards Bureau’s ruling that brands’ Facebook pages should be treated as advertising has been branded as “strange” by Diageo’s CEO.

The European Union and the US Distilled Spirits Council (DISCUS) have welcomed a decision that finds the Philippines to be in breach of trade rules when it comes to tax on imported spirits.
