Walsh Whiskey has announced the release of new additions to The Irishman’s range of Irish single malt whiskey, featuring a new bottle design.

Walsh Whiskey has appointed six new distributors in Eastern Europe in a bid to capitalise upon strong growth in the region.

Following the news yesterday that Brown-Forman has broken ground in its US$50m Irish whiskey distillery in Slane, Walsh Whiskey announces that it has taken delivery of three copper pot and column stills, bringing it a step closer to January’s formal commissioning of its new €25m distillery.

The Australian Advertising Standards Bureau’s ruling that brands’ Facebook pages should be treated as advertising has been branded as “strange” by Diageo’s CEO.
