New scotch distillery
Another new scotch whisky distillery is set to open, thanks to a Tasmanian
A new scotch whisky distillery is to open in Fife thanks to a Tasmanian distiller.
The Kingsbarns distillery will be located on a disused farm on the Cambo estate between St Andrews and Crail.
Bill Lark who founded the Lark distillery on Tasmania and is described as the “godfather” of modern Australian whisky-making, has been instrumental in setting up this operational distillery with visitor centre in Fife.
The new team, including Lark himself, is hosting a media open day on June 29 to outline their plans for the Kingsbarns Company of Distillers.
