Last night (Tuesday December 3), I attended a tasting of Balblair vintages. We tasted five whiskies, 2003, 1997, 1990, 1983 and 1969, prefaced by a glass of Balblair’s base spirit.
Pamela Dinh, brand manager, vodka, gins & liqueurs, Diageo GTME said: “Baileys Orange Truffle flavour has been created with the festive period in mind, tapping into this consumer mindset but also answering the consumer need for innovation and exciting new offerings to our core range.
“The new flavour presents a fantastic commercial opportunity for travel retail in the coming months. Promotional collateral has been designed with the discerning female shopper in mind, and also works to engage the potentially lucrative female ‘non shopper’ group.”
POS, “theatrical displays” and sampling initiatives will accompany the launch.
The RRP is £13.25.
