Robberstad went on to say: “We are also looking forward to continue to build the Heering brand globally with our products Cherry & Coffee Heering that is, as before, 100% owned by the Tilander family.”
Altia announced yesterday that it has signed an agreement to acquire The Xanté Company and the Xanté spirits.
The major Nordic alcoholic beverage business company is hoping that Xanté will reinforce its position and play and be a stepping stone in developing an international presence. The brand is significant in the Nordic markets and has some distribution in international travel retail.
Altia produces, markets, sells, imports and exports alcoholic beverages in the Nordic and Baltic countries. Its annual net sales are said to amount to approximately €500 million.
Altia’s own brands include: Blossa, Chill Out, Explorer, Grönstedts, Jaloviina, Koskenkorva, O.P. Anderson, Renault and Skåne Akvavit. Its partner brands include: Codorníu, Drosty-Hof, Hardy’s, Jack Daniel’s, Bowmore, Nederburg, Ravenswood and Robert Mondavi.
