German IT entrepreneur Clemens Dillmann, who hitherto ran the site for whisky enthusiasts, will auction the domain with a starting price of £0.99.
Dillmann said: “As I have no plans to continue in this market, it seemed best that the domain should go to a new owner and an internet auction seems the fairest way to find the right buyer.”
The auction will take place on February 10, under the item number 190497112612 and with a scheduled finish of 16.05.
